Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js)

---

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Next.js engineer who can take full ownership of frontend architecture, implementation, and quality.

This role is not about simply completing assigned tickets.

We are seeking someone who:

* Designs clean, scalable architectures

* Enforces consistent rules and structure across the codebase

* Proactively identifies risks, inefficiencies, and improvement points

* Takes responsibility for frontend quality in a financial institution context

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Design, develop, and maintain production-grade web applications using Next.js (App Router / Pages Router as appropriate)

•⁠ ⁠Define and enforce clear file structures, responsibilities, and architectural boundaries

•⁠ ⁠Implement maintainable, readable, and predictable code that any engineer can understand at a glance

•⁠ ⁠Ensure strict separation of concerns (UI / domain / application logic / infrastructure)

•⁠ ⁠Build frontend systems that align with financial-grade security, stability, and compliance requirements

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate closely with backend, mobile, design, and compliance teams

•⁠ ⁠Proactively identify technical debt, design flaws, and operational risks — and fix them before they become problems

•⁠ ⁠Optimize performance, rendering strategy (SSR / SSG / ISR), and bundle size

•⁠ ⁠Support release cycles under real deadlines with strong ownership and accountability

Required Skills & Experience

•⁠ ⁠8+ years of professional frontend or web application development experience

•⁠ ⁠Strong, production-level experience with Next.js (routing, rendering strategies, data fetching, caching)

•⁠ ⁠Deep understanding of frontend architecture and responsibility-driven design

•⁠ ⁠Ability to design and maintain consistent, rule-based file and folder structures

•⁠ ⁠Clear understanding of what “spaghetti code” is — and the discipline to never produce it

•⁠ ⁠Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including strict typing and domain modeling

•⁠ ⁠Experience integrating APIs securely and predictably in financial or data-sensitive systems

•⁠ ⁠Ability to write code that is:

* Readable

* Predictable

* Testable

* Safe to extend

 •⁠ ⁠High sense of responsibility suitable for financial institution–level development

 •⁠ ⁠On-site work required (remote work not allowed)
