Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, setup, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Assist in Proof of Concept (POC) and lab setup, including basic physical and logical network configurations.
• Deploy, configure, and support network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and virtual appliances.
• Assist with WAN and internet connectivity, including routing, failover, and basic redundancy setups.
• Support implementation of network security controls, such as firewalls, VPNs, access control, and traffic segmentation.
• Perform network testing and troubleshooting, including connectivity, performance, and failover scenarios.
• Support system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and post-implementation verification.
• Assist in integrating network solutions with cloud or security platforms.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration records, and test results.
• Work closely with senior engineers and team members to support daily operations and project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in network operations, implementation, or support (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN).
• Exposure to network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and access controls is an advantage.
• Familiarity with enterprise network devices (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, or similar vendors) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new networking and security technologies.
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
