Job Opportunity: IT Manager

We are a leading group of contracting and manufacturing companies with over 15 locations across the UAE, including factories, site offices, stores, and temporary sites. Our central hub, located in ICAD, houses the main servers supporting approximately 600 employees using Office 365 and specialized professional software. We utilize ERP and SAP systems for HR management, alongside customized internal software for documentation and archiving.

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and develop our IT department, managing both our networking and software teams to support the growth and technological needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Department Leadership: Oversee and develop the IT department, currently comprising a networking team of 6 and a software team of 5.
• System Optimization and Development: Enhance and streamline the performance of our central server hub, ERP, SAP for HR, Office 365, and customized internal software.
• Infrastructure and Network Management: Ensure reliable and secure network performance across all 15+ locations, including temporary sites and remote locations.
• Software Management: Oversee software implementations, updates, and customizations to support business operations and documentation needs.
• Strategic Planning and Innovation: Develop strategic initiatives to improve IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital solutions, aligning them with business goals.

Qualifications:

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but optional).
• Industry certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• Strong preference for candidates with certifications in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect to support cloud migration and integration.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role in IT, preferably within contracting, manufacturing, or multi-site operations.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and multi-location networks, ideally within a group of companies or similar organizational structure.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) administration and integration, with hands-on experience in optimizing ERP systems for large teams.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS), with a focus on scalability and disaster recovery.
• Strong background in cybersecurity and data protection protocols to safeguard systems across diverse locations.

Leadership and Strategic Planning Skills:

• Experience in strategic IT planning and budget management, including forecasting and resource allocation.
• Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives, implement process improvements, and drive IT innovations that align with organizational goals.
• Ability to mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a high-performance, responsive IT team that meets evolving business demands.

Project Management and Vendor Relations:

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), with experience leading large IT projects, especially in software and infrastructure upgrades.
• Strong non-commercial vendor management skills, including negotiating with IT service providers, managing software and hardware contracts, and coordinating with third-party suppliers.
