We are looking for a Penetration Testing Specialist who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Mons, Belgium.

Eligibility:

  • Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
  • Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
  • Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).


Additional Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team operations during NATO military exercises.
  • Conduct penetration testing at web, infrastructure, and application levels.
  • Perform security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies.
  • Provide expert security consultancy to various projects and planning activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including configuration boards, accreditation authorities, and internal units.
  • Brief technical and executive stakeholders on security assessments and testing outcomes — including high-ranking officials.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders in coordination with the Head of the Penetration Testing Cell.


Required Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Web application penetration testing
  • IT infrastructure penetration testing
  • Network security architecture design
  • Vulnerability assessment across operating systems, software, and networks
  • Use of penetration testing tools, techniques, and standard methodologies
  • Experience in system and network administration (UNIX & Windows).
  • Strong scripting skills in one or more: Perl, Python, Ruby, or shell scripting (bash/ksh/csh).
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • System and network security
  • Authentication and security protocols
  • Cryptography and malware protection techniques
  • Application security testing
  • Ability to evaluate risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Proven ability to draft clear technical reports, including executive summaries, technical analyses, and remediation strategies.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level).
  • Nationality of one of the NATO member countries.
