Web Designer

Position: UX/UI Designer (Focus on UI)

Key Technologies & Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English (C1), with the ability to defend design decisions based on UX/UI principles.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Expertise in designing layouts and components for websites/web applications using Atomic Design and Responsive Web Design (RWD) principles.
• Ability to build and maintain prototype libraries.
• Basic understanding of front-end development concepts.
• Experience implementing WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Proven collaboration with web developers.
• Experience in digital image optimization.
• Knowledge of typography and color palette principles for web design.
• Documented experience supported by a portfolio.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with managing and maintaining Design Systems.

Project Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a designer with a strong sense of aesthetics. The primary role will involve maintaining a component library and complex prototypes in Figma, delivered by external agencies.

• Work in a 20-person international team, dedicated to the U.S. market.
• Collaboration with product teams and the local team responsible for building and maintaining ViiV Healthcare websites (especially product pages: Cabenuva, Dovato, Apretude, Rukobia, and projects for healthcare professionals and patients).
• Work in European time zone, with frequent and intensive interaction with U.S. teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and correct delivered designs for RWD compliance and consistency.
• Collaborate with developers on design implementation and resolving visual/UX issues.
• Prepare mockups and prototypes based on business requirements.
• Coordinate design changes with external agencies and business partners.
• Review and optimize source materials from subcontractors (buildkit review).
• Occasionally prepare graphic materials for business communication (templates, graphic elements).
