Job Title: Senior AI/ML Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI/ML Project Manager to lead complex, end-to-end artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives into production. This role is ideal for a seasoned project/program management professional with deep exposure to AI, ML, and data science projects, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.

You will be responsible for driving delivery excellence across the full AI lifecycle—ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and with clear business impact—while working at the intersection of data, technology, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and data science projects, from ideation and planning through production deployment and post-launch optimization.
• Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, cloud engineers, and business analysts.
• Apply both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, adapting delivery approaches based on project complexity and organizational needs.
• Partner closely with technical teams to align AI/ML development milestones, data readiness, and MLOps workflows.
• Oversee AI/ML lifecycle activities, including experimentation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cloud and MLOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Track delivery metrics and KPIs; leverage reporting and visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Stay current with emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices through professional organizations and industry communities.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management, with 3–5+ years specifically managing AI, ML, or data science projects.
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML projects into production in real-world, enterprise or product environments.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification — required.
• Extensive experience managing cross-functional technical teams in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, deep learning, and predictive analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Experience working with cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
