Software Architect - Python , C#

VASS is actively looking for a Software Architect to work for our client, EIB in Luxembourg.

Job Responsibilities:

● Provide recommendations regarding the technical design of new functionalities considering mostly the practical best practices in

OOP object-oriented programming;

● Advise and set-up several technical automated tests based on DevOps tools focused on ensuring best performance and data

integrity throughout the application;

● Provide technical support and maintenance for the in-house developed tools and packages;

● Support and enhance the PowerShell scripts used in the system operationalization.

Job Requirements:

● Knowledge in OOP (object-oriented programming), with focus on C# and Python

● MSSQL knowledge, considering queries, procedures and triggers as it is used by EIB bespoke applications to feed the Risk ALM

platform;

● Scripting knowledge, preferably PowerShell, equivalent Linux shell knowledge will also be considered as they are part of the Risk

ALM platform daily operations;

● Risk applications experience, preferably in support functions within Market Risk (MR) and Asset and Liability Management (ALM);

● CI/CD development and experience in maintaining Natural Language Processing applications.

● Communicate effectively, both orally and written in English including alignment with stakeholders;

● Provide cohesive and understandable documentation, which covers the whole job performed during the time of the project.

Mandatory Experience

● Experience of minimum 3 years in Python and C#

● Experience of minimum 5 years in support for risk management applications
