Graphic Designer (Contract)

Join a dynamic sports nutrition brand dedicated to delivering educational, science-backed content to high-performance athletes and teams. This role focuses on transforming provided copy and concepts into visually compelling Instagram carousels that adhere to established brand guidelines. You will play a key part in shaping the brand’s online presence by creating clean, impactful designs that resonate with combat sport athletes, NRL players, and the wider sports community. The initial assignment is a trial, with the opportunity for ongoing weekly projects based on performance and portfolio quality.

Deliverables

• Design Instagram carousel posts (5–10 slides each) using Canva, ensuring consistency in brand colours, typography, and overall style.
• Translate provided copy and concepts into engaging, educational visual content.
• Deliver final files in Canva format, ready for immediate use.
• Revise designs as needed to meet brand standards and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with the brand to maintain a cohesive visual identity across all social media content.
• Meet agreed deadlines for each assignment, with potential for 1–2 carousels per week or batch jobs.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience designing social media graphics, particularly Instagram carousels, for brands or personal projects.
• Strong proficiency in Canva; ability to work efficiently within the platform.
• Excellent sense of layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency with brand guidelines.
• Ability to work quickly and confidently, matching an established visual style.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work in social media design, preferably within sports, health, or educational sectors.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
