Job Description
Role : Backend Developer with Java , Scala
Experience : 5+ Years
Location : Brussels, Belgium
Languages : English
Mode : Hybrid ( 2 days office in a week is mandatory)

Mandatory Skills & Experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with Java and Scala
* Experience in developing backend services using Spring / Spring Boot (Java) or functional programming concepts (Scala)
* Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
* Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
* Familiarity with banking domain concepts such as payments, transactions, accounts, or risk systems
* Experience working with message queues or streaming platforms (Kafka, JMS, etc. ).
Hands-on experience working with technology like queueing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ), Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), Play framework, Akka library
* Understanding of security practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven).
