About The Role
As a Data Sourcing Engineer at SEB, you’ll join a professional team within Credit & Capital Tribe, working on a new initiative to support IRB compliance. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data sourcing solutions — with a strong focus on data quality, traceability, and regulatory alignment.
You’ll contribute to system improvements, lifecycle management, testing, and incident resolution. You’ll also collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other development teams to ensure our data sourcing approach supports robust credit risk assessment and capital adequacy.
This role offers the opportunity to explore and experiment with modern technologies — including AI tools like Google Gemini — and shape how data flows into our regulatory decision-making processes.

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have
- Experience in data sourcing, data pipeline development, and data quality assurance
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with various data storage solutions (BigQuery, relational databases, etc.)
- Ability to take initiative and ownership
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with modern technologies and tools
- Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information
- Great collaboration, communication skills and fluency in English
- Bonus: experience working with GCP
