Senior .NET WebForms Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET WebForms Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level web applications using ASP.NET WebForms and the Microsoft .NET Framework. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to mentor junior developers and drive best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of complex web applications built on ASP.NET WebForms and C#.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, ensuring maintainability and extensibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and sharing best practices.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Implement security standards, authentication, and authorization mechanisms within applications.
• Drive modernization efforts by recommending and implementing upgrades, refactoring legacy code, and integrating newer .NET technologies.
• Lead troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for production issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum development processes and continuous integration/deployment workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing enterprise applications with ASP.NET WebForms and C#.
• Deep expertise in .NET Framework (4.x) and WebForms architecture.
• Strong command of SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Extensive experience with OOP principles, design patterns, and software architecture best practices.
• Familiarity with IIS administration, version control systems (Git, TFS), and Visual Studio.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, or Blazor.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience in performance tuning and scalability of high-traffic applications.
• Background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including roles such as Scrum Master or Technical Lead
