As a Security Specialist, you will work in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of everyday business, alongside complex security landscapes, and projects with high business impact.
You will be responsible for analyzing and supporting our operations with risk mitigation, as well as identifying and preventing security threats. You will also support the business and ongoing delivery projects in Poland in meeting both external and internal security requirements. You will play a key role in managing incidents and raising security awareness. The role also includes working with classified information.
Your primary workplace will be the company’s modern headquarters in central Warsaw. Saab Technologies Poland Sp. z o. o. currently operates in multiple locations, including Gdańsk, Gdynia, and others.
Frequent domestic travel across Poland, along with occasional international trips – primarily within Europe – required.
Your main tasks:
- Developing, implementing and managing policies and procedures to meet and maintain both internal and external company security standards;
- Ensuring compliance of operational processes and activities with the Polish act on the protection of classified Information and data protection regulations;
- Managing information security (including classified information);
- Overseeing site security from both physical and personnel perspectives;
- Conducting risk assessment;
- Planning and carrying out security audits;
- Supporting incident and crisis management, as well as travel and site security arrangements;
- Preparing security documentation as required by the business;
- Managing insider prevention program.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
- Proven experience as a security controller or a similar position;
- Background from police, military, or public/private security organizations or government authorities would be an advantage;
- Solid knowledge of Polish and international regulations pertaining to the protection of classified information;
- Working knowledge and experience of the Polish act on the protection of classified information especially within the defence and security business environment;
- Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, standards and best practices in security;
- Good business understanding and commercial awareness;
- Valid driving license.
- Keen eye on details and very high moral and ethical standards;
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and in English (both written and spoken);
- High level of discretion and confidentiality;
- Ability to build and maintain strong personal business networks and good relations inside as well as outside your own organization including participation in customer meetings to support delivery projects in Poland;
- Have a structured way of working, from planning to execution;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Solution-oriented, actionable and a strong problem solver.
