Qualifications
- 7+ years of production machine learning experience with a proven track record of successful multi-project initiatives
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong foundation in testing methodologies, systems observability, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams including software engineers, product managers, and data scientists
- Experience in building scalable solutions and architectures (preferred)
- Experience in developing net-new projects from inception to second-generation deployment (preferred)
- Own end-to-end outcomes by integrating multiple models, data sources, and dynamic systems to improve inventory predictions
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for modeling inventory dynamics across different observation-density regimes
- Make informed technology choices based on problem maturity and requirements
- Collaborate effectively across teams to foster a unified approach to development and drive consensus on technical solutions
- Lead and execute projects from conception through deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Mentor team members, introduce relevant advanced technologies, and promote a culture of best practices in machine learning development
