Our challenge:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong expertise in Python to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data-driven decision-making, adept at building analytical solutions, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment. Experience with AI/ML techniques is a strong plus.


Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis: Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Python development: Build scripts, automation tools, and analytical models using Python.
  • Visualization: Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • AI/ML exposure: Support projects involving predictive modeling, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of methodologies, processes, and findings.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (data manipulation, libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred, but not required:

  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
