We are seeking a Senior Lead Developer (Freelance) for a high-impact, 12-month project with our client in Hasselt. This is your opportunity to drive digital transformation in the education sector, working alongside a team of elite builders who are shaping tomorrow’s technology landscape.

As a Senior Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in integrating and evolving the Student Information System for our client’s education and internationalization DevOps team. What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and mentoring a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation
• Driving the integration and optimization of the Student Information System within a complex Azure DevOps environment
• Designing, developing, and deploying full-stack cloud solutions using .NET Core, Azure, Angular, and React
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders in the education sector to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
• Ensuring code quality, security, and scalability through best practices and continuous improvement
• Championing Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to accelerate delivery and maximize impact
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of digital services in the public sector, with a focus on education and internationalization

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer and Team Lead, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core and Azure DevOps
• At least 5 years of experience in relevant or similar technologies at a senior level
• Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification
• Demonstrated experience in the public sector (must have), with additional experience in the education sector (preferred)
• Full Stack Cloud Solution Engineering expertise
• Strong development experience with Angular and React
• Higher education degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience
• Builder mindset: ownership, problem-solving, and a relentless drive for impact

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is required

Other Requirements

• This is a freelance position for a 12-month assignment, based in Hasselt
• Assignment falls under the 2022-2027 Framework Agreement (Lot 1)
• On-site work required (remote work is not possible for this role)
• Estimated workload: 2000 hours at 80% regime
• Selection based on 50% quality and 50% price
