We’re looking for a seasoned backend engineer who thrives in a multi-product environment, enjoys building clean and scalable architecture, and is excited about having real ownership. You’ll join a team that moves fast, experiments often, and relies on engineering excellence to support several digital ventures.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain a modular backend architecture powering multiple products.
• Own our payment infrastructure — including gateway integrations (Stripe, Payabl, Adyen, etc.), subscription logic, invoicing, and refunds.
• Develop shared tools and APIs that can be reused across ventures (authentication, analytics, billing, email, CRM integrations).
• Define and uphold architectural standards: code quality, documentation, testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, growth, and data teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Oversee and refine infrastructure setups: servers, databases, environments, domains, monitoring, and uptime.
• Troubleshoot production systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience across all products.
• Lead and mentor backend or full-stack engineers embedded in product teams.
• Act as a technical advisor during new product launches — selecting frameworks, shaping architecture, and ensuring efficient backend decisions.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with backend engineering in production environments (Node.js / NestJS is a plus, but not required).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable service design.
• Hands-on experience with payment integrations, subscription systems, or other revenue-critical flows.
• Confidence working across databases (SQL/NoSQL), server environments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, containerization, and monitoring tools.
• Curiosity and adaptability — you’re comfortable learning new frameworks, languages, and tools when needed.
