⚡ Functional Analyst – Energy Sector
📍 Brussels | Permanent Contract (CDI)
eXalt is recruiting a Functional Analyst on a permanent contract to work on high-impact missions with our clients (TSOs, DSOs, suppliers, traders, producers).
This is an ideal opportunity to put your analytical skills at the service of strategic projects shaping the energy of tomorrow.
🔍 Your mission
You will act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams.
Concretely, you will be responsible for:
Understanding the operational challenges of energy stakeholders and clarifying their needs.
Modeling processes, flows, and use cases (UML, BPMN).
Analyzing and formalizing requests, incidents, problems, and changes (ITIL framework).
Writing functional specifications that can be effectively used by IT teams.
Participating in design, testing, integration, and follow-up of system evolutions.
Contributing to documentation updates and knowledge sharing.
Facilitating communication between business users, architects, developers, and operators.
⚙️ Your strengths in the energy sector
Experience or familiarity with one of the following areas is an advantage:
MIG & market processes: MIG6, MIG DGO, billing, settlement.
Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL).
Process optimization and development (BPM).
Service management tools (Topdesk), SQL, Jira, Confluence.
CMS contexts / exchanges between DSOs, suppliers, and market actors.
No need to be an expert in everything: we are looking for a rigorous, autonomous person comfortable in multi-stakeholder environments.
🎯 Desired profile
3 to 8 years of experience as a functional analyst or business analyst.
Experience in data analysis, BPM, and stakeholder management.
Good understanding of IT architectures: APIs, databases, batch processing.
Proficiency with tools: UML, SQL, Jira, Confluence (Topdesk is a plus).
ITIL and Scrum certifications appreciated.
Native French or Dutch + ideally a good level in the other language.
Professional level of English.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
