Job Title: Accountant

Employment Type: One Year Extendable

Level: Graduate / Entry Level

Job Purpose

To manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and support financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accounting records, journals, and ledgers.

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.

Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense claims.

Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems.

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

0 - 1 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
