Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies: stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Analyze, design, and implement backend services and data architecture solutions.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable Kotlin and Java applications.
• Take ownership of the team’s codebase in a DevOps way of working, including production support and on-call rotation.
• Enforce code quality through reviews, standards, and best practices.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Work on applications that support mission-critical and strategic business processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Kotlin (minimum 2 years, preferably 4+ years) — must have.
• Solid experience with Java and backend frameworks.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes.
• Experience working in an Azure cloud environment.
• Good knowledge of relational databases; Oracle PL/SQL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership mentality.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka, Grafana, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance optimization tools.
• Experience working in high-availability, high-throughput production environments.
