We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a dynamic team in Lisbon. This hybrid role (2 days per week in the office) offers the chance to work on cutting-edge analytical and AI-driven solutions that have real-world impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement complex analytical models, including combinatorial approaches and deep learning on structured and unstructured data.
• Develop solutions using Python, R, and cloud-based PaaS services (preferably Azure) with advanced ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Caffe.
• Integrate Generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models) into workflows for text generation, summarization, contextual classification, image creation, and intelligent copilots.
• Build robust pipelines for preprocessing, model fine-tuning, evaluation, and API-based deployment, following best practices in machine learning engineering.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative AI and analytics solutions.

What You Bring:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in machine learning development (Python, R, SAS), model deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.

Nice-to-Have / Valued Skills:

• Experience with AI / Generative AI solutions.
• Ability to develop interactive data visualizations to present complex results.
