Strategic Staffing Solutions International'c customer is a leading Nordic bank based in Copenhagen, offering retail, corporate, and asset management services to millions of customers across the European region.
As their Lithuanian team grows, they are looking for a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join the Linux and Container Orchestration teams, working on the EKS platform on AWS.
What you will do:
- Build, maintain, and optimize EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) platforms on AWS.
- Support migrations from on-prem OpenShift to OpenShift on AWS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents on EKS and OpenShift platforms.
- Collaborate with the Linux and Container Orchestration team to ensure platform stability and scalability.
- Implement automation for deployments and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor, log, and maintain security and performance of Kubernetes clusters.
What you will need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, components, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Proficiency with EKS and its integration with AWS services.
- Practical experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience handling migrations from on-prem OpenShift to AWS cloud.
- Knowledge of networking (CNI), logging, metrics, and security operators in Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with OpenShift, both on-prem and in cloud environments would be a strong advantage.
What you will get:
- Pay range: 45–55 EUR/hour (negotiable based on your skills and experience)
- 12-month contract, either full-time employment (FTE) or B2B, with potential for extension
- Hybrid work mode in Vilnius, with a minimum of 4 days per month in the office
- Opportunity to work on one of the largest transformation/migration projects in the region
