We’re looking for a skilled fullstack engineer with strong experience in Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript to help us build a high-impact invoicing system focused on early/prepayment invoicing. The first 3 months will focus on building out early/prepayment functionality followed by long-term maintenance and new feature development. This role requires a balance of backend strength and frontend capability, combined with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build simple, functional frontend components with Next.js
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams
- Take ownership of technical solutions from concept to deployment
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
- 5 years of experience in backend development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript
- Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Experience building applications using Next.js
- Familiarity with caching (Redis, MemCache) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Agile development experience
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
- Familiarity with Nest.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS
- Experience designing APIs and building microservices
