We’re looking for a skilled fullstack engineer with strong experience in Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript to help us build a high-impact invoicing system focused on early/prepayment invoicing. The first 3 months will focus on building out early/prepayment functionality followed by long-term maintenance and new feature development. This role requires a balance of backend strength and frontend capability, combined with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Build simple, functional frontend components with Next.js
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams
Take ownership of technical solutions from concept to deployment
Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability

What We’re Looking For

5 years of experience in backend development
3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js
2+ years of experience with TypeScript
Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
Experience building applications using Next.js
Familiarity with caching (Redis, MemCache) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Agile development experience
Excellent communication skills in English

Bonus Points

Experience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks
Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
Familiarity with Nest.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS
Experience designing APIs and building microservices
