NET Developer (Contract)
Location: Vancouver, BC (In-office only)
Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Safety Canada Secret Level Clearance
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team supporting a Government of Canada project. This is an in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with a team lead and two junior developers in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and configure software packages following established standards.
- Prepare and execute component and assembly test plans.
- Create system documentation for programs in development or maintenance.
- Define system requirements based on approved functional and technical specifications.
- Monitor application performance and implement runtime improvements.
Must-Have Skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Clearance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Google BigQuery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Information Security fundamentals and best practices.
- Experience scripting in Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration.
- Understanding of software engineering principles.
