NET Developer (Contract)

Location: Vancouver, BC (In-office only)

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Safety Canada Secret Level Clearance

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team supporting a Government of Canada project. This is an in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with a team lead and two junior developers in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and configure software packages following established standards.
• Prepare and execute component and assembly test plans.
• Create system documentation for programs in development or maintenance.
• Define system requirements based on approved functional and technical specifications.
• Monitor application performance and implement runtime improvements.

Must-Have Skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Clearance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
• Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Google BigQuery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Information Security fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience scripting in Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with APIs and integration.
• Understanding of software engineering principles.
