Internship in Cyber Strategy & Architecture - Security Awareness

NVISO is a pure-play cyber security consulting firm: our team is composed of security professionals who each have their specific field of expertise, ranging from Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance to Incident Response, Penetration Testing, CSIRT/SOC, Software Security, and Training & Awareness. This fantastic blend of skills enables us to help organizations prevent, detect, and respond to complex security challenges.

As a Security Awareness intern, you will be working inside NVISO’s Cyber Strategy and Architecture team and contribute to the creation of material aimed at enhancing users’ cyber security awareness. The form of the content can take various forms: cyber games online, AI generated videos, graphic design, slogans, etc.

• The content created during this internship will be used both internally and externally for customer projects. Creation of content for specific communication campaigns, such as the CyberMonth can also be considered.

Missions

• Turn real existing stories available online (e.g. Darknet Diaries podcast, Pwned newsletter, etc.) into presentations that can be given to our colleagues or customers as awareness sessions.


• Create an index of cyber security awareness topics and design awareness material content on these topics under various forms: posters, videos, screensavers, and newsletters.


• Contribute to the online game Cyber-Emmergency Coach by designing new cyber incident scenarios.


• Create an NVISO communication campaign for CyberMonth (optional).

Output of Internship:

The intern will have the chance to evolve in a dynamic environment with room for freedom and creativity while still being guided and supported by seasoned professionals in cyber security. They will be exposed to leading-edge cyber expertise while having the opportunity to evolve in a business-oriented environment, surrounded by approachable, young, and dynamic professionals who work on a multitude of diverse projects. This experience will prove highly beneficial for building a strong career path in cyber security.

• The candidate should currently be pursuing a degree related to either Computer Science (or a related field), OR Communication and Marketing.


• No advance knowledge in cyber security is required, however, the candidates will be expected to have a basic understanding of common cyber threats (phishing, malware, social engineering) and best practices (strong password, MFA, regular updates).


• The candidate should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in reporting.


• The candidate should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate.


• The candidate should have professional working proficiency in English. Competencies in French and Dutch will be appreciated.
