We are partnered with a Financial Institution to look for an Application Developer for Compliance Systems
Role Overview
- You will support and enhance core compliance and regulatory reporting systems.
- You will work close to Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Accuracy, stability, and data integrity matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance compliance and regulatory reporting applications.
- Analyse incidents and data issues. Fix root causes.
- Deliver bug fixes and production releases.
- Work with Compliance teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Build automation to improve data quality, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Support and operate vendor platforms such as Nice Actimize.
- Ensure systems meet security, performance, and availability standards.
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL. This is critical.
- Solid understanding of regulatory reporting or compliance systems.
- Experience in application support and production environments.
- Exposure to ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and release management.
- Working knowledge of Java-based systems.
- Experience with data-heavy systems and complex workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace is a plus.
- Experience with Nice Actimize or similar compliance platforms is useful but not mandatory.
- Avaloq experience
