  • Design and evolve the organisational structure of the team

  • Oversee vendor and partner relationships, ensuring effective use of external resources and cost-efficiency
  • Evaluate and implement partners, tools, frameworks and processes that improve engineering efficiency
  • Maintain oversight of compliance and audit progress, acting as an escalation point to resolve blockers and any cross-team friction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, managing large distributed teams (10+ people), covering the full lifecycle of people management from coaching and development to managing underperformance
  • A strong technical background with expertise in software development and delivery, with a focus on:
    • Deep understanding of cloud-native environments (GCP desirable)
    • Proven ability in architectural decision-making and technical trade-offs
    • Expertise in modern software tooling and CI/CD delivery processes
  • Experience in SaaS or complex technology environments is essential; background in FinTech or Payments is a plus
  • Experience managing compliance, audit and security best practices
