BWC is looking for a Data Scientist for its client in Brussels, Belgium. Its a full time - permanent contract with BWC.

Functional Description:

The Predictive Models team is looking for a senior data scientist (50% on-site presence in Brussels) with a proven track record in building and deploying data science models and expertise in using LLMs for text classification and summarization. You’ll work with a team of motivated data scientists who are eager to learn, collaborate and share expertise.

• Tackle various business challenges by creating responsible AI models to answer the needs of the Marketing and Communication to make campaigns more relevant and impactful.
• Capture the business needs, determine the feasibility, build the models and analyses to identify the most relevant target groups and set up tests to measure the impact of the models
• Build models to support customer journey driven marketing campaigns
• Build pipelines that clean and structure web analytics data and use LLMs to detect customer intent
• Apply the guidelines and best practices (e.g. explainability) for building the responsible AI models. Monitor and deploy AI models in production using a comprehensive stack of tools.
• Present technical concepts into clear, actionable insights to business owners and advise about the usage of the models in the campaigns.

Dutch: Fluent spoken and written

OR

French: Fluent spoken and written

Required experience / knowledge

• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience

Technical experience:

• Expert in Python programming andPython data science environment (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Expertise in customer journey modeling (e.g. next best action)
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, experiment design and machine learning algorithms (traditional and deep learning)
• Expertise in usage of LLMs for text classification, interpretability, guardrails and validation of LLM driven predictions
