A leading European private equity firm is establishing a new Nordic office in Oslo and is seeking an experienced Vice President to play a key role in building and scaling its regional presence. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing investment platform at an early stage of its Nordic expansion and to work closely with senior leadership on origination, execution, and portfolio value creation.

The Vice President will be a core member of the Nordic team, responsible for driving investment activity across the region while helping to establish the firm’s local footprint. The role combines hands-on deal execution with significant responsibility for origination and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and originate proprietary and intermediated investment opportunities across the Nordic region
• Leverage and further develop a strong local network of advisors, management teams, and business owners
• Lead and execute transactions end-to-end, including financial analysis, due diligence, structuring, and negotiations
• Support portfolio companies at board level and work closely with management teams on value creation initiatives
• Contribute to the build-out of the Oslo office and the firm’s long-term Nordic strategy
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior investment professionals across the broader European platform

Candidate Profile

• Strong buyside investing experience from a private equity firm, investment fund, or equivalent principal investing role
• Proven track record of deal execution and investment judgment
• Deep understanding of the Nordic market, with an established and credible local network
• Fluency in one or more Nordic languages (in addition to English) is essential
• Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to help build a regional platform
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
