Security Operations Center Manager | Oslo, Norway | Hybrid Working

We are partnering with a large, well established international consultancy to appoint a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager for their growing cyber security practice in Oslo.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence. You will be responsible for the operational excellence, strategic direction, and continuous improvement of a mature SOC environment that supports a wide range of enterprise and public sector clients.

The role

As SOC Manager, you will take ownership of day to day SOC operations while also shaping the long term vision. You will lead multidisciplinary security teams, ensure high service quality, and act as a trusted point of escalation for complex incidents and client engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing SOC analysts and team leads
• Owning incident response processes and escalation management
• Ensuring SOC services align with client, regulatory, and business requirements
• Driving improvements across tooling, automation, and detection capabilities
• Collaborating closely with internal cyber, cloud, and risk teams
• Supporting client relationships at both operational and senior stakeholder level

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience managing or leading a Security Operations Center
• Strong background in incident response, threat detection, and security monitoring
• Experience working in a consultancy or multi client environment is highly beneficial
• Comfortable leading teams, setting direction, and managing performance
• Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is beneficial but not essential)
