This is a remote position.
The Junior Scrum Master supports Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, promoting Agile best practices, and helping remove impediments to team productivity. This role works closely with senior Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams, making it ideal for an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in Agile delivery and team facilitation.
Assist in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Support Agile teams in following Scrum principles and Agile best practices
Help identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team progress
Assist with maintaining Agile artifacts such as backlogs, sprint boards, and burn-down charts
Support collaboration between Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders
Help track sprint metrics and prepare Agile performance reports
Support continuous improvement initiatives and team retrospectives
Assist with onboarding new team members to Agile processes
Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
0–2 years of experience working in Agile, Scrum, or project coordination roles
Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello)
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to Agile practices
Coaching and servant-leadership mindset
