Role: Technical Product Manager

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 months

Rate: $950 - $1000 per day



Organisation

· Our ASX listed client is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own and evolve core eCommerce and digital integration capabilities.

· This role suits someone who has grown from a technical Business Analyst or similar background into a product role and enjoys working deep in the detail while still driving customer and business outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

· Own the product roadmap for technical eCommerce capabilities and platform integrations

· Lead the definition and delivery of APIs and system integrations (internal and third-party)

· Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams

· Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear product outcomes, user stories, and acceptance criteria

· Work closely with engineering, architecture, UX, and delivery teams in an agile environment

· Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability of digital products

· Support end-to-end eCommerce flows including product, pricing, promotions, checkout, payments, fulfilment, and post-purchase journeys

· Use data and system insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation

· Manage dependencies, risks, and technical trade-offs



Experience

· Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Manager

· Solid understanding of eCommerce ecosystems and digital platforms***essential

· Background as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar

· Strong hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, webhooks, third-party platforms)

· Comfortable working with engineers on solution design and technical decision-making

· Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams

· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
