I’m Andreas Lorentzen, Head of CTI and Security Engineering, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. Join our Global Security Operations Center and be part of the team that builds the tools and controls that keep us safe
What you’ll do:
You will contribute to the security engineering team responsible for enabling Telia’s SOC/CERT operations. Your role includes designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining security controls that detect and respond to cyber threats. You will also create automation, protective mechanisms, and assurance tools that strengthen our security posture.
- Develop and operate tools and systems that support detection and incident response
- Build automation for protective and detective security controls
- Collaborate with analysts to design effective detection rules and anomaly detection
- Continuously improve our DevSecOps capabilities within GSOC
We are looking for someone curious and motivated who enjoys solving problems and working in a collaborative environment. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re eager to grow and take ownership.
- Experience with programming (Python or JavaScript preferred)
- Familiarity with query languages like SQL, KQL, or SPL
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, system administration (Linux/Windows), or DevOps
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
