About Your New Job

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Services team, responsible for building backend services and APIs that support asset transfers, account management, and transaction processing. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable, cloud-based microservices.

You will collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, and product teams to develop REST APIs, asynchronous messaging services, and data-driven solutions, while following modern software engineering and DevOps best practices.


What Skills You Need

  • Strong expertise in Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Solid experience with SQL databases and data modelling
  • Experience building microservices and understanding twelve-factor app principles
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation tools such as Docker and EKS
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging systems (SNS, SQS, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Unit and integration testing experience using JUnit and Spring Boot testing frameworks
