European Operations Director
Mission Critical MEP Contractor | Data Centres, Pharma, Semiconductor
Location: Europe-wide role (Base negotiable; Ireland or UK preferred)
Package: c. €175k - €190k (negotiable) + benefits + performance-related bonus
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true European leadership role with a fast-scaling mission critical MEP contractor.
The business currently delivers ~€100m annual turnover and is on a clearly defined trajectory to €350m+ within the next three years. Growth is already happening, and this role exists to take control of it, shape it, and accelerate it.
You will have real authority, direct access to the COO, and the mandate to build scalable operations across Europe while projects ramp rapidly across Data Centres, Pharma, and Semiconductor manufacturing.
Your Mission
- Own and lead European project operations across multiple regions
- Drive consistent delivery standards, performance, and margin
- Scale project execution capability in line with aggressive growth targets
- Support regional leaders, project directors, and commercial teams
- Embed robust systems, controls, and best practice as the business scales
- Act as a key strategic partner to the COO and senior leadership team
What You’ll Be Working On
- Large-scale mechanical & electrical installation projects
- High-value, technically complex mission critical environments
- Repeat clients across Data Centres, Pharma, and Semiconductor
- Multi-country project portfolios with increasing value and complexity
What We’re Looking For
- Senior operational leadership background within MEP contracting
- Hunger and ambition to drive growth in a small but fast-growing business
- Proven experience delivering mission critical or regulated environments
- Comfortable operating at board / exec interface level
- Strong commercial and programme control capability
- Able to lead at pace, across borders, with autonomy
