For one of our highly regulated, technology-driven clients in the tax and compliance domain, we’re looking for a Software Developer (hands-on) to strengthen the our engineering team. You’ll work within a DevOps team on a complex, business-critical platform that sits at the intersection of application development and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

This is a hands-on engineering role — not a lead or management position.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on Go (Golang)
• Work on a complex, existing application within an enterprise technology stack
• Build and maintain integrations and connectivity with other internal applications
• Develop, deploy, and operate applications running on Kubernetes
• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts
• Take ownership of the full application stack (build, run, and maintain)
• Actively contribute to improving code quality, stability, and performance
• Collaborate closely within an agile DevOps team
• Act as an example in engineering approach, documentation, and professionalism

What we’re looking for

• Strong, hands-on experience as a backend software developer
• Solid experience with Go (Golang)
• Experience working with application integrations in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based applications
• Experience working at the intersection of application development and infrastructure
• Comfortable managing and operating production systems
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset

Tooling & engineering practices

• Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SonarQube
• IDEs such as VS Code or JetBrains
• Able to manage and optimize the full development toolchain
• Comfortable owning applications end-to-end in production
