The Role – Junior Software Engineer (AI-First)

We’re looking for a hands-on junior software engineer eager to build, learn, and take ownership early. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior engineers and product leads to help build Attune from the inside, contributing directly to core AI-powered features and systems. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI, gaining real exposure to how an early-stage AI product is designed, built, and iterated. This is a role for someone excited to turn ideas into working software and grow quickly by shipping real things.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Software Engineer at Attune, you will:

• Contribute to the development of AI-powered product features grounded in real user data
• Support conversation ingestion, analysis, and memory systems
• Help implement UX logic that adapts based on evidence strength and uncertainty
• Improve reliability, clarity, and trust in AI outputs
• Iterate quickly by building, testing, and refining features
• Use AI tools extensively to accelerate development and problem-solving
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and product leads to turn ideas into working software

Who You Are:

You are a junior developer by title, but a builder by nature.

• Final-year student or recent graduate with strong side projects or prototypes
• Curious, hands-on, and comfortable figuring things out independently
• Excited about building real products, not just completing tasks
• Very comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily development workflow
• Interested in product behavior, edge cases, and system coherence
• Able to communicate clearly in both technical and non-technical contexts
