Position Title: Project Manager

Location: Qatar Onshore

Contract Term: 36 Months (Estimated Start: January 2026 | End: 2029)

Working Schedule: 10 hours/day, 5 days/week, 22 days/month

Number of Positions: 1

Please note: Only candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas and LNG sectors will be considered.

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the FEED and EPC phases of a major Offplot Infrastructure development for our energy client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily project activities across FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning, ensuring alignment with schedule and resource plans.
  • Review execution goals and progress against critical success factors; adjust plans to meet stakeholder expectations and strategic objectives.
  • Lead planning and scheduling sessions, ensuring effective resource allocation and proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Manage change requests and impact assessments, facilitating contractor discussions and securing approvals from senior management.
  • Monitor contractor performance on safety, quality, cost, and schedule; conduct daily reviews and escalate issues as needed.
  • Perform site walkdowns and safety inspections, addressing issues promptly and reinforcing a “no blame” safety culture.
  • Document lessons learned and feedback, contributing to continuous improvement and future project benchmarking.
  • Track KPIs and exception reports, coordinating with functional leads to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Provide visible leadership across all phases, engaging with EPC contractors and Operations to ensure seamless execution and handover readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of diversified and multi-disciplinary experience in the oil & gas industry.
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role within major project environments.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, multi-cultural greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards and regulatory compliance, particularly within LNG projects.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory for this role. Candidates with only a Master's degree but no Bachelor's will unfortunately not be considered.
