Junior Developer
Location - Geelong, Victoria, Australia (Hybrid – regular attendance at the Geelong office required)
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 AUD
This role is suited to early-career developers looking to grow their skills in a structured, supported environment. Join our progressive and talented team and gain hands-on experience as a Junior Developer working on our market-leading Callista products.
As part of Tribal you will work in an experienced team with a culture of support, guidance, and training, developing our products.
Based in our development hub in Geelong, Victoria, this is an exciting opportunity to work within our product development team where we develop our student information system Callista. We are looking for a Junior Developer, and in your role, you will contribute to the software development process with your goal being to write top quality code whilst also ensuring that best practice solutions and approaches are employed.
What can I bring to the role?
First and foremost, you will have a passion for software development and an aptitude for solving problems in an analytical and creative way. Experience or exposure to technologies such as Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Grails is advantageous, with strong transferable skills also considered.
- A relevant university degree (or equivalent qualification) is required.
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available).
Other key role details:
- Monday to Friday, 38-hour work week
- Normal AU work hours
- Office: Geelong, Australia (hybrid working model)
