Now, we’re looking for someone to bring that same energy into our DevOps domain. In this role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to work with mission critical network operations support systems, gaining diverse experience and broadening your expertise.

About the position

The top priority is to support mission critical systems in the operational state and perform maintenance in tight cooperation with various third parties. Most of the upgrades are managed by respective vendors, however the team is in charge of managing maintenance windows and ensuring systems’ continuous operation.

The position duties involve working with several projects within one of the largest internet service providers in Europe and include managing lifecycle of operation support systems for mobile and fixed networks on various technology stacks (Docsis, Ethernet, GPON).

However, work scope is not limited by mere support and maintenance. Due to the vast nature of existing networks and multiple solutions, it is essential to pursue a policy of unification. Hence the team will have the power to affect the solutions’ landscape, push improvements that will bring positive impact on stability and efficiency of network operations.

What We Expect

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in computer networking and network protocols
• Experience with application lifecycle management
• Experience with containerizing applications
• Experience with monitoring tools and solutions
• Excellent English communication skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum

It’s a Plus If You

• Know at least one programming language
• Understanding of test and performance tools (xperf, ookla) and their metrics
• Understanding of automated tests and corresponding tools

The gross salary in this position is 4200-5000 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
