DevOps Engineer

The Challenge

Here, at Present Connection, we are looking for a proactive, creative and keen problem-solving DevOps Engineer. After joining us, you will work as part of project team based in Kaunas and will have direct contact with the client teams in the Netherlands.

The team in Kaunas will consist of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers. Client teams in the Netherlands will work with internal projects, such as CRM, OSS (operational support systems), self-service customer areas and so on.

As DevOps engineer, you will work closely with development teams, operations and management teams. You will be responsible for IT projects rollouts and operations, while working with a wide range of technologies. You are going to be involved in various projects’ stages from the design, over the implementation to the operational support of the technical solution.

What We Expect

• Brief understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum
• Sketchy knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• A peek into CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, JS, Go, Python)
• Understanding of automated tests and corresponding tools
• Good English communication skills

The gross salary in this position is 1800-3300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
