Senior XSOAR Consultant

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Location: Sweden or UK/Europe fully remote

Rate: Dependent on level of experience

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior XSOAR Consultant to join a major security programme. This role is a key position within the security operations landscape, helping to drive advanced automation, threat detection, and response capabilities across complex environments.

This is a contract opportunity suited to someone with deep technical knowledge of Palo Alto XSOAR, combined with hands-on experience in Security Operations, SIEM, and XDR.

This person can be based in Sweden or potentially working remotely from the UK/Europe

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise Palo Alto XSOAR playbooks to enhance SOC automation
• Integrate XSOAR with existing SIEM, XDR, and third-party security tools
• Build advanced detection logic, enrichment pipelines, and correlation rules to improve visibility and response
• Develop dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools to provide real-time threat intelligence
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across XSOAR and associated security integrations

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in Palo Alto XSOAR (minimum 3–5 years across Cortex platforms)
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, XDR, and SOC operations
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation
• Hands-on experience in log ingestion, alert tuning, and incident response workflows
• Ability to lead design and implementation projects independently
• Strong English Language skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE, XSOAR specialist certifications)
• Cloud security exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Previous experience in SOC environments
