Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong proficiency with GitLab (as a user and administrator).
• Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, Load Balancers, RDS, S3, Lambdas, Networking).
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.
• Knowledge of Python, REST API design, Dynatrace, or Prometheus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• EU Citizenship is required.
• Ability to work in shifts (Early: 07:00–16:00; Late: 11:00–20:00).
• Mandatory on-call rotation covering 7 consecutive days, including weekends.
• Languages: English (fluent); other European languages are a plus.

Job Description:

• Platform Optimisation: Integrate, maintain, and improve code and tools related to the GitLab service offer, focusing on automation and orchestration.
• Collaboration: Work within an agile squad, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups alongside architects and developers.
• Operational Excellence: Resolve operational tickets according to established SLAs and KPIs.
• Testing & Quality: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability during deployment.
• Documentation: Thoroughly document scripts, configurations, and technical code to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Client Engagement: Use a client-minded approach to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
