Are you a passionate and high speed User Experience Designer (UXD) with design system building experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to design a software solution from the ground up? If yes, Sergiwa Capital is excited to offer a full-time role to a dedicated individual interested in experiencing venture studio, venture capital, private equity firm, or innovative startup environment.
What You Can Expect:
This is a hands-on experience building novel AI experiences for exciting user groups. You'll be in a high-speed, vibrant and user-focused new venture environment, actively synergizing user insights with business and engineering needs, as you design novel interfaces and interactions. You’ll be joining a fast, agile, and collaborative team of experts, where you’ll be expected to be highly motivated, proactive, and talented to learn quickly in an unstructured way, leveraging the people and resources around you.
Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Key Responsibilities:
- Be proactive and enthusiastic about designing novel, innovative, and unique human-AI interfaces and interactions that offer seamless and delightful experiences.
- Distill and leverage user research, feedback and data (telemetry or click data) and team’s expertise, to design novel UI and multimodal AI supported interactions for a new software venture.
- Produce and manage UI/UX artifacts such as personas, storyboards, workflows, sketches, wireframes, journey maps, low and high-fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, if skills allow, even live MVP products.
- Push and test creative and innovative boundaries, to come up with novel UI, UX and interaction design ideas.
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative design and validation research, concept, usability, and A/B tests, from data collection and analysis to delivering actionable insights and guiding the product roadmap.
- Build quick and iterative mockups to test assumptions about users and their use of technologies.
- Constantly refine designs through user feedback.
- Building a modular design system from the ground up and manage it as the product matures and becomes increasingly complex.
- Write lean and enticing copy for products, apps, websites and synthesize best practice guidelines and process documents (SOPs).
- Proactively collaborate with different cross-functional teams, such as research, business, and engineering, to distill briefs, research, user studies, business needs and other matters into unified design solutions, while maintaining alignment and support the agreed-on performance indicators (KPIs), .
- Document design decisions and their reasons for the team to easily track.
- Stay current on emerging trends in user-centered methodologies, accessibility, UI design patterns, usability principles, web app technologies, etc.
- Ideally, have existing experience with AI in design workflows, or desire to acquire them quickly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must speak English.
- Must have experience building a modular design system.
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to meet and exceed tight deadlines.
- At least 1 year of UI and research and design experience with a portfolio showcasing your aesthetic style, visual literacy, analytical thinking, problem solving, and collaborative aptitude.
- Working knowledge of wireframing software (Adobe XD, Figma).
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills to distill analysis, present users needs, designs as solutions, and the reasons behind your design decisions.
- Passion for user-centered design, including user research.
