Key Responsibilities
- Monitor data center systems and alerts (servers, network, power, cooling)
- Perform basic troubleshooting of server, network, and hardware issues
- Handle rack & stack, cabling, labeling, and asset management
- Assist with server installation, replacement, and decommissioning
- Monitor power, UPS, generators, and cooling systems
- Respond to incidents and follow SOPs and escalation procedures
- Create and update tickets and documentation
- Support backup checks and basic restore tasks
- Ensure compliance with data center safety and security policies
Its a backfill role that means engineer needs to go 2 days to the site that is Tuesday, Thursday.
