Software Engineer Data Analytics - Tietoevry Education

The Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Data Analytics at Tietoevry Education, you will:

• Work in a skilled cross-functional team to develop and modernize our data analytics platform
• Take end-to-end responsibility for building software products that improve schools across the Nordics
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs
• Shape your team's ways of working, both internally and with surrounding teams
• Continue learning from and coaching your colleagues in our agile development environment
  
  

Essential Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• University degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or similar field
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server
• Solid experience with database management, data modeling, and data structures
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with agile methodologies, Azure DevOps (or similar), and CI/CD pipelines
• Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)

• Modern data analytics platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI)
• OLAP cubes and multidimensional data modeling
• Azure platform and its data services
• Data visualization and BI tools
• ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Specialized knowledge in containers, test automation, microservices, or software security
