Right now, we are looking for a Networks Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon or Porto.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and manage complex, resilient, secure, and high-performance digital networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN);
- Install and configure software, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, devices, and other network equipment;
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date technical documentation, including comprehensive mapping of the network topology;
- Interpret ITED projects and ensure accurate implementation in the field;
- Monitor the network (availability, integrity, and performance);
- Resolve network issues across on-premises and public cloud infrastructures, following escalation from L1 and/or L2 support teams;
- Automate tasks and monitor operational efficiency;
- Conduct Wi-Fi site surveys and optimize wireless network performance;
- Implement network access control (NAC) (valued).
You must have:
- Advanced knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF);
- Extensive expertise in network operating systems, with a focus on Cisco IOS;
- Familiarity with Cisco collaboration solutions, including Cisco Call Manager;
- Strong theoretical understanding of SD-WAN and SASE architectures and technical solutions;
- Cisco certifications (valued);
- Knowledge of ITSM tools;
- Fluent in English.
