Senior EU Project Specialist

You will be contributing to the CITADEL Range project which is one of Europe’s most ambitious cyber defence initiatives, with a budget of €60.4 million. It is set to reinvent how cyber forces across the EU train, collaborate, and respond to emerging threats.

CR14, as head of the consortium, brings together experts from across Europe to create modern and flexible tools for realistic cyber training. These tools are designed to work with existing national systems, making it easier for countries to train together and prepare for complex cyber challenges.

As the Senior EU Project Specialist, you will work closely with our Project Coordinator to ensure smooth and successful implementation of the CITADEL Range project. See more information about the project here.

You will support our CITADEL Project Coordinator with

  • Designing workflows, schedules, and process tools to ensure smooth implementation
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams
  • Maintain reporting, documentation, and compliance with project methodologies
  • Preparing periodic technical/financial reports and supporting the creation of deliverables

Ideal candidate

You are perfect for the role if you are familiar with the inner workings of EU projects, including multi-partner, international consortia, more specifically:

  • Experience in financial administration and reporting for EU projects, including budget monitoring, cost eligibility, timesheets, audits/CFS
  • Knowledge of EU compliance rules, amendment procedures, and audit requirements

We highly appreciate

  • Accuracy and precision in task execution with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills at the international level
  • Proficiency in English at least C1 level, including professional vocabulary
  • Interest in defence
  • You must be located in Estonia and eligible to work in Estonia (valid residence permit)
