Software Engineer - App development

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Software Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded remote functions for the VOC app.
• Collaborate closely with the team and contribute to backlog tasks.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, including unit tests.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback for improvements.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and proactively suggest innovative features.

Experience / Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++14) and cross-platform development.
• Experience writing thread-safe, testable code.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and strong English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and deliver scalable solutions.

Meritorious

• Mobile app development experience (Android/Kotlin or iOS/Swift).
• Knowledge of test automation, BLE, and automotive technologies (CAN, FlexRay, SOME/IP).
• Familiarity with Robot Framework
• Swedish language
• Driving license B
