CAN – Technical Coordinator (Cyber Security / Penetration Testing) (Contract)

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
Location: Hybrid – Scarborough, ON (2 days onsite)

Role Overview
Seeking a Technical Coordinator to support a continuous compliance penetration testing program within a global cybersecurity team. This role will coordinate assessment readiness, support execution tracking and reporting, manage stakeholder communications, and ensure timely delivery of testing results and remediation follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support execution of mandated penetration testing and security assessments
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure assessment readiness and scheduling
- Track vulnerabilities, remediation progress, and deliverables across teams
- Develop and maintain reporting on findings, trends, and risk indicators
- Support communication models and governance processes for managing reported vulnerabilities
- Ensure adherence to established security processes and enterprise standards
- Provide timely and accurate status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership
- Support budget tracking, financial reporting, and invoice/SOW review activities
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience as a Technical Coordinator within the IT security field
- 3+ years of experience with budget tracking, financial reporting, invoice review, and SOW management
- Experience producing data quality/risk reporting (trends, risks, recommendations)
- 3–5 years of experience interpreting regulatory documentation or enterprise standards
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills
- Post-secondary education (preferred in a related field)

- Power BI experience
- Spanish proficiency
- Financial services experience and/or penetration testing exposure
