Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Lead with deep expertise in corporate banking channel applications, including browser-based (web) platforms and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities, define testing strategies, ensure regulatory and security compliance, and manage QA teams delivering high-quality, resilient banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Leadership & Strategy

• Define and own the overall test strategy for corporate banking channel applications (Web & Mobile).
• Lead functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, and production validation testing.
• Establish testing standards, best practices, and governance aligned with banking compliance requirements.
• Drive risk-based testing approaches for high-value corporate banking transactions.

Corporate Banking Domain Testing

• Validate end-to-end corporate banking flows including:
• Payments (Domestic, International, SWIFT, RTGS, Bulk payments)
• Trade Finance modules
• Cash Management & Liquidity
• Account Management & Reconciliation
• Corporate user onboarding, entitlements, and approvals
• Ensure correctness of maker–checker workflows, limits, roles, and authorization matrices.
• Test integration with core banking systems, payment gateways, ERP systems, and third-party services.

Web & Mobile Channel Testing

• Lead testing for browser-based applications (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
• Oversee testing of mobile banking apps (iOS & Android), including:
• App lifecycle, upgrades, backward compatibility
• Device, OS, and network variability testing
• Ensure consistency and functional parity across web and mobile channels.

Non-Functional Testing

• Oversee performance, load, stress, and scalability testing for peak transaction volumes.
• Ensure security testing including authentication, authorization, encryption, session management, and OWASP vulnerabilities.
• Validate compliance with banking regulations and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, local regulatory guidelines).

Automation & Tools

• Drive test automation strategy using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Ensure CI/CD integration with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
• Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation testers.
• Coordinate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and UAT teams.
• Provide test status reporting, metrics, and quality dashboards to senior management.
• Support release sign-off and production readiness reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• Extensive experience testing corporate banking channel applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.
• Deep understanding of banking transactions, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and large-scale testing initiatives.
• Strong defect management and root cause analysis skills.

Technical Skills

• Test Automation: Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright (any combination)
• Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
• API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI
• CI/CD & DevOps exposure
• SQL and basic scripting knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in regulated environments
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with corporate banking platforms (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, T24)
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging
• Experience in Agile / SAFe environments
• ISTQB / Banking or QA certifications
